Check your security at master guru Steve Gibson's Shields UP internet site. Read down the page and first "Test Shields" for major TCP/IP problems, and then "Probe Ports" for application problems.
Check your privacy, and quickly identify spyware browser pests attached to your browser at Doxdesk.com. Great technical reference for most common spyware pests. This test is for browser plug-ins only.
More complete tests can be run by downloading PestPatrol. The free download will assess your privacy pests, but you'll need the full program for fixing them.
The Audit My PC has a very good privacy tester that has some nice basic indicators, and good analysis of rogue cookies, and other windows vulnerabilities:
Check your internet speed at Speakeasy's website - Just hit test and watch the speedometer.
Full virus database and latest virus alerts from Norton Anti-Virus Labs:
Norton Security free virus scanner and security risk assessment. Also has a good graphical trace program if you want to try to catch a hacker.
