Terms

Hours of Operation

• The PC Support Source is responsive and flexible in helping our customers quickly. We will usually be able to respond on-site the same but always the next day, and we work evening and weekends without a surcharge. We do have preferred hours as listed below, but we can work out arrangements for any situation.   

• Phone and Web Support: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM. - 9:00 PM. Saturday 10:00 AM. - 6:00 PM. Sunday 12:00 PM. - 5:00 PM.

• On-site Support: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM. - 9:00 PM. Saturday - On Request Sunday - Closed

Rates

• The Initial 10 minutes of any service inquiry are always free. We'll  assess your situation and gladly advise on your next best  course of action, whether you need our services or not.

• All prices are for 25 yr. experienced computer professional. (see Qualifications)

• Suburban on-site Rate: $ 70.00 Hr. - 1 Hr. Minimum

• Travel charges at $ 35.00 hr. may apply after leaving our local area. (see local areas here.) (We may waive travel depending on certain circumstances, call for details.)

• On-Site rate: Chicago Loop - $ 85.00 Hr. - 2 Hr. Minimum

• Telephone and Web Support billed at $ 70.00 Hr. - 1/4 hr. Minimum

• Out-of-area phone support - we will call you back so you never pay toll charges.

• Price guarantee: We pride ourselves on quality service, done right the first time, and offer 30 day warranty on all our work (see above). • Follow-up and clarifications on work performed after any call are always free.

• There's never a surcharge for after hours or weekend work.

• We guarantee your satisfaction with our service or your money back.

Sales & Orders

• PCs (Quoted to your specifications - see right side panel) usually delivered within 3-5 working days. FOB Wheeling, or have us deliver it and set it up. Terms: 1/2 deposit on all orders over $500.00.

• Ordering - We can usually drop ship software and supplies within 24 hours. Please call us for your next quote.

Warranties

• All PCs warranted on-site for parts and labor for 1 yr. After that, all manufacturers warranties at the component level will be honored. (Many extend 2-5 yrs. Removal and replacement at regular labor rates apply). 3 yr. labor warranties also available.

• Service labor warranted for 30 days on  invoice details. Please note: re-configuration or  customer changes in environment may affect warranty status. Service beyond the scope of agreed project, user training, and other ancillary services may be billed separately. If there are concerns of this nature, please contact us in advance of the changes, we'll be happy to advise you.

Billing and Payment Terms

• Payment by PayPal, Visa/MC/Amex,  company or personal check, and cash.  Customer purchase orders accepted with prior clearance. We ask that terms customers pay on weekly basis. (no extended terms, please)

• Terms extended to customers on a case-by-case basis - customers may be asked to provide references, and will be required to have company-authorized request for our service (usually a PO #)

• Ongoing service will be billed on a weekly basis. Our highly detailed invoices serve as proof of service and later documentation.

• Longer project terms: 50% on agreement, 40% on completion, 10% after 30 days

• Since we allocate time for your project by turning down other business during that time, some agreements may require a retainer
